Springwells hotel

Originally a Georgian Merchants house, built in 1772, Springwells is a bed and breakfast with 11 rooms for up to 22 people, located in Steyning, West Sussex.

The brief

With little investment in marketing, the hotel was relatively unknown outside of Steyning where it is located and with plenty of spare capacity there was a requirement to improve awareness and generate more sales. The General Manager of the hotel has a busy job which includes running front of house, managing the team and providing reception cover, leaving no time to dedicate to developing new business. They needed help with sales and marketing but had a very limited budget to work with to take things forward.

Our solution

Utilising the funding they had through Skills South East, we developed a sales and marketing strategy which gave them a plan to work from. We also created a tactical promotional plan, focusing on the three months ahead, with everything costed out to keep within budget. With a limited marketing budget we also ensured that everything that we proposed could be done in-house.
